In an extended C scale, if F is the 11th and A is the 13th, what do you call G and B? The 12th and 14th?
Bill ___ I believe the correct label is called (flat / or # 11 ) ,or ( flat / or # 13 ).
Bill ___ unsatisfied with the answer I found, I asked for further clarification. I was given the response of, “the 12th and 14th, remain for obvious reasons”… which to me is not obvious. lol
It’s not typical to use the extended nomenclature for notes past 11th, so G and B would just be 5th and 7th.
